Francis Prachthauser is an established fine artist that specializes in custom bronze jewelry and wearable art. Originally from Parsippany, New Jersey, Francis began his career as a bronze artist in 1982; he first encountered this medium at 17 years old working a summer job on the Jersey Shore. At the time he never expected welding to turn into a career that has now spanned 4 decades. With over 43 years of experience, Francis has had his work featured in a number of institutions including Universal Studios, Cirque Du Soleil and Dior Spain. His art has been collected by patrons on 6 continents (Antarctica is a tough sell) as well as by notable artists and authors such as Anne Rice and Lindsey Stirling (Artemis). Francis has sold his art to thousands of others who have come across his work at trade shows and Renaissance Festivals across the United States. You can find his work at the following shows in 2023: Pennsylvania Renaissance Festival, Kansas City Renaissance Festival, The Bay Area Renaissance Festival (Tampa, FL), The Virginia Renaissance Festival, Hoggetowne Medieval Faire (Gainesville, FL), Sarasota Medieval Faire, and the Central Florida Highland Games.
